The map is constructed with materials resistant to weather, which seems to last long. The map is easy to read and has lots of color codes that are easier to follow. I am very happy with the purchase.

May be a bit "more expensive and not as difficult as it claims to be, but the general aesthetic quality of these maps are at right angles better than other products on the market ... including maps featured in a number of ADK Trail Guide without wanting to offend anyone. the reason I say this because the map is consistent with the above 'as the series' guide, so the route number (with lots of information in full color) are on these cards as well.

I Get Mine laminated with super-thin sheets and keep them wrapped in a wicker basket ... Just to avoid wear and tear along the folds and so on.
